Excalibur class

This time it's one of STO's more iconic ships: The Excalibur class!

Introduced rather early as a part of cryptic's promotional campaign for Star Trek Online many fans, including myself, didn't receive the more angular shape and strong similarities to the Sovereign class very well.
However when the game went free-to-play and I actually got the chance to fool around with the various ship costumes, I realized that there many good looking combinations of the individual ship parts
and since I couldn't settle for one of three original ships I decided to model my favourite combination of those parts instead.

I then added my usual qirks and little details to the model and textured it in the same style as my other STO models.
